Fantastic hard plastic candy container in the shape of a hen sitting on a nest. Candies are inserted in the hole in the breast. When the tail is moved up and down, the candies are dispensed out of the bottom of the nest. Perfect for egg-shaped jelly beans! Marked "1964 Ideal Toy Corp." Excellent condition. Very nice vintage tin child’s sand pail decorated with a patriotic lithograph of an American eagle in red, white and blue. The patriotic theme is unusual. The pail is marked by Ohio Art. Circa 1940s. Wear and rusting from normal use, but no big dings and cracks. The graphics are nice and bright. 6-1/8” high to top rim; 6-1/4” top diameter.

Excellent condition, a very small spot of wear to the paper on one side near the bunny's right foot and a little wear along rims. 4-1/4" long.

Fabulous papier-mache Easter candy container in the form of a duck. This fellow has real feathers on his wings, one of which opens on a spring hinge to get at the candy. The bill is wooden and the eyes are glass. It's got everything but the quack! Unmarked, but undoubtedly German. There is a slight amount of the damage to the webbing on the feet and the feathers are a bit ruffled, but otherwise he's in very nice condition. 8.25" tall; 7.5" beak to tail. Circa 1930's

This is the Santa or Jack Frost in a curved pinecone (Type I) ornament. This variation is more uncommon and has more detail than the Type II variation. Excellent paint (except some wear to white beard) and silvering. No chips or cracks. 3-3/4" long.

Nice vintage embossed Halloween post card showing a boy carrying a black cat past a glowing jack-o'lantern. The illustration is unsigned, but looks like the work of Ellen Clapsaddle. Marked on the front with the letters "LSC" around a circle with a "C" in it. The back is marked "Series 226E". Unused. Circa 1910. Condition: softening along edges, nice color.

A vintage composition candy container in the rare form of a pink pig. The head is delicately painted to highlight a devilish face with red lips and a broad grin in which he bares his teeth. The painted eyes give him an overall scarey look. The tail is rawhide or leather while the head detaches from the body to reveal the storage compartment -- what an odd place to hide that holiday Christmas candy ! German vintage figural candy containers in the form of uncommon animals are rare.
Dimensions: 6 inches long and 3 1/4 inches tall from the foot to the tip of his ear.
Origin: Faintly marked Germany on the underside of the pig.
Circa 1920.
Condition: Very nice, with a bit of flaking around the neck. No visible repairs or breaks.

This Matchless star Christmas light has red glass prisms and a red glass gem. The base is bakelite and the bulb is C-6. These star lights were manufactured by the Matchless Electic Co. of Chicago, circa 1930. The lights are 2 inches in diameter and in working condition. 4 available in this color combination.
