A fun set of vintage Christmas ornaments depicting circus characters--a ringmaster, a strong man, a clown, an animal trainer, and a pair of flying acrobats. The ornaments are made from canvas and wood enhanced with painted details and fabric clothing.

• Condition: very good, the strongman had a place in the upraised fist that originally held a wooden dumbbell and the clown is missing one wooden hand.

Fantastic hard plastic candy container in the shape of a hen sitting on a nest. Candies are inserted in the hole in the breast. When the tail is moved up and down, the candies are dispensed out of the bottom of the nest. Perfect for egg-shaped jelly beans! Marked "1964 Ideal Toy Corp." Excellent condition. Size: 6" long, 3-1/2" wide, 8" tall.

Vintage Halloween paper party plates. The decoration features a ghost scaring a witch off her broom. The rim is decorated with bats and jack o'lanterns. Circa 1950s-60s. Excellent condition. Size: 6-1/4" x 6-1/4".

Neat pink hard plastic Easter Bunny holding an Easter egg candy container. Made by Rosbro, circa 1950s. Excellent condition. 4" tall.

Unopened package of 24 vintage Halloween crepe paper cocktail napkins. The smaller cocktail size is bit harder to find than the dinner size. The napkins feature a wonderful border of dancing skeletons, witches, owls, bats and black cats. The edges are scalloped. Circa late 1940s. Condition: excellent. Size: 9" x 9".

Great hard plastic "Easter Express" candy container/toy. Unmarked, but made by Rosbro. This is a great example of how the company made parts interchangeable so they could create new items by joining together a seemingly endless selection of rabbits, ducks, roosters, chicks, etc. Circa 1950. Excellent condition, original "grass". 8" long, 7-1/4" tall.

Wonderful vintage tin Easter basket with colorful lithographs of nursery rhymes including Little Bo Peep, The Cat and The Fiddle, and Peter Pumpkin Eater. The bottom is marked with J. Chein's mark.

Origin: America, circa 1950. Condition: a very small ding on the side, paint rubs along rim, lithographed areas are in terrific condition with bright color. Size: 7-3/4" diameter; 8" high.

Fun chenille chick in a yellow pressed paper Easter Egg. Used as an Easter table decoration, it might also have been used as a candy container for jelly beans or other small candies. Unmarked, probably Japanese, circa 1930's. Great condition. 2-1/2" tall.

Vintage composition Easter chick candy container. The pull out bottom is marked "Made US Zone Germany." Terrific color and overall condition (there's a 1/2" paint flake on the top of the head.) 3-7/8" tall. This will be a nice addition to that special Easter basket. Circa 1948

Really fun hard plastic Easter Bunny bank. The rabbit is dressed in a baseball uniform, complete with a ball cap. He holds a baseball bat and a ball. Unmarked, but probably by Rosbro. Circa 1950s. Excellent condition. 11-3/4" tall.

Cute lithographed tin Easter basket decorated with a festive market scene. Some paint rubs,rust spots, and bends in the handle, but nice bright color. 5-1/4" diam., 6" tall.

Excellent condition, a very small spot of wear to the paper on one side near the bunny's right foot and a little wear along rims. 4-1/4" long.

Vintage lithographed tin Halloween pan noisemaker, decorated in green, black, white and orange. The decorations include a witch, a ghost and a skeleton around a cauldron. The edges are decorated with jack o'lanterns, owls, bats and black cats. Marked "US Metal Toy Mfg. Co. Made In U.S.A." Very nice condition, some scratching where metal clappers hit against pan, very light rust on the unpainted clappers. Circa 1940s. 7-7/8" long.

Excellent condition, there is a crack on the underside by the axle that appears to have happened at the factory, since it is completely secure and shows no signs of regluing. 8" long, 7-1/4" tall.

Vintage glass candy container in the form of an airplane. The wings are marked "Army Bomber 15-P-7". Excellent condition, except for a 1/8" flake on edge of the plane's tail. 4-1/4" x 4-3/8". 1940s.

Rare hard plastic Easter Rooster pull toy by Rosbro. This is an older version of the toy and has its original red and green wheeled platform. He even has what appears to be his original pull string. Circa 1950. Excellent condition. 6" tall.

A vintage bisque Halloween candy container in the form of a black cat rubbing up against a jack o'lantern. The porcelain is heavier than many bisque items, suggesting it is of American origin.

Terrific hard plastic Easter candy container. A cute lamb pulls a card piloted by none other than Donald Duck. Two chicks ride in the card behind Donald. Unmarked, but probably by Rosbro. Circa 1950s. Excellent condition. 8" long, 4-3/4" tall.

Cute composition Easter chick candy container. The surface is covered lightly with Venetian dew. Unmarked, but probably German, from the late 1940s. Condition: a few nicks on the bill, the top of the head and along the opening in the bottom; the slide bottom is missing. 4-1/4" tall.

Hard plastic Santa Claus lolipop holder and candy container. Made by Rosbro Plastics of Providence, RI. Excellent condition. 4.5" tall. 1940's--50's.

Vintage blown glass accordian Christmas ornament. Two sides of the accordian show the keyboards while the other two sides show the bellows. Germany, 1930s. Excellent silvering and paint. No cracks or chips. 3-1/4" tall.

An unusual vintage Halloween wooden ratchet noisemaker decorated with a plastic black cat. This is the only old wooden ratchet we've seen with a plastic decoration. The ratchet is stained orange with a green clacker. The cat is marked "Made In Japan."

Colorful hard plastic lollipop holder in the form of a clown on wheels. This piece, intended for either Christmas or Easter, is very difficult to find. Made by Rosbro.

Origin: America, circa 1950. Condition: excellent, no cracks, a little paint wear on the nose, a small scratch on the side of one leg, and discoloration to the glue joining the halves. Size: 6-1/2” tall.
