Extra nice and extra-large vintage fancy blown glass indent Christmas ornament. The front and back of the teardrop have colorful indents and the sides are painted with a grapevise motif. The cap is marked "Germany". 7" long. Excellent condition.

This Matchless star Christmas light has amber glass prisms and a cobalt blue glass gem. This is one of the less common color combinations. The base is bakelite and the bulb is C-6. A vintage composition candy container in the rare form of a pink pig. The head is delicately painted to highlight a devilish face with red lips and a broad grin in which he bares his teeth. The painted eyes give him an overall scarey look. The tail is rawhide or leather while the head detaches from the body to reveal the storage compartment -- what an odd place to hide that holiday Christmas candy ! German vintage figural candy containers in the form of uncommon animals are rare.

Dimensions: 6 inches long and 3 1/4 inches tall from the foot to the tip of his ear.

Origin: Faintly marked Germany on the underside of the pig.

Circa 1920.

Condition: Very nice, with a bit of flaking around the neck. No visible repairs or breaks.

Rare tin cookie cutter in the form of a Christmas Belsnickle (AKA Father Christmas, Santa Claus). The cutter is stamped "555" on the back between the airholes.

Origin: American, circa 1890s. Condition: excellent, a small bit of rust. Size: 9-5/8" x 3-1/2".

Terrific vintage Santa Clause figure with composition face and boots, felt and satin costume, standing on a mica-covered base. The is a nice example in a good size. Japan, circa 1930. 7" tall. Excellent condition, a little bending to the cardboard base.

Nice Santa Clause on a ball blown glass Christmas ornament. The ball is decorated with silver stripes against the orange/red background. Nice detail.

This is the Santa or Jack Frost in a curved pinecone (Type I) ornament. This variation is more uncommon and has more detail than the Type II variation. Excellent paint (except some wear to white beard) and silvering. No chips or cracks. 3-3/4" long.

Fabulous papier-mache Easter candy container in the form of a duck. This fellow has real feathers on his wings, one of which opens on a spring hinge to get at the candy. The bill is wooden and the eyes are glass. It's got everything but the quack! Unmarked, but undoubtedly German. There is a slight amount of the damage to the webbing on the feet and the feathers are a bit ruffled, but otherwise he's in very nice condition. 8.25" tall; 7.5" beak to tail. Circa 1930's

Nice vintage German Dresden-type papier-mache Easter egg candy container decorated with a bright Easter Bunny scene. The inside is marked "Container Made in Western Germany". Circa 1950's. Excellent condition, a very small spot of wear to the paper on one side near the bunny's right foot and a little wear along rims. 4-1/4" long.

Fantastic hard plastic candy container in the shape of a hen sitting on a nest. Candies are inserted in the hole in the breast. When the tail is moved up and down, the candies are dispensed out of the bottom of the nest. Perfect for egg-shaped jelly beans! Marked "1964 Ideal Toy Corp." Excellent condition. Size: 6" long, 3-1/2" wide, 8" tall.

Terrific hard plastic Santa Claus lolipop holder and candy container. This is the rare version on snowshoes instead of the more common skis. Marked "Rosbro Plastics Providence, RI". Excellent condition. 4.5" tall. 1940's--50's

Full sheet of unusually large vintage German diecut Santas carrying toys. Two of the Santas wear the harder to find blue robe. The colors are gorgeous and this sheet would look terrific framed. Each Santa Claus measures 9-1/4" tall--an unusually large size.

The assortment of toys is wonderful--nutcrackers, racecars, dice, dolls, airplanes, books and toy horses.

The tabs are marked "Printed In Germany", "PBZ" and "1211". The printer was the Paul B. Zoecke company which was founded in Berlin in 1896.

The two blue Santas are duplicates and two of the red Santas are duplicates (the red Santa to the far right is different.) The full sheet measures 9-1/4" x 13-1/2".

Condition is excellent. Two of the Santas have a slight crease.

Old Little Red Riding Hood candy container. The pressed paper front shows Red Riding Hood walking with a seemingly docile wolf on her way to Grandmother's house. The candy box affixed to the back has a slide opening much like a match box. the back is marked "Made In Germany." 3" x 1" x3-1/4" tall. Circa 1930s.

Vintage hard plastic yellow Easter Bunny pull toy by Rosbro. This is the older version of this figure and is on a green and pink wheeled platform. Really nice paint details and excellent condition. Circa 1950. 6-1/4" tall.
