Excellent vintage Halloween papier-mache party noisemaker in the form of a cucumber. These are more often found in the shape of a carrot. Unmarked, but definitely German, circa 1925. Excellent working condition; all original. 7-1/2" long.

Vintage Halloween party paper plate. The decoration features a witch, a haunted tree, bats, black cats and jack o'lanterns. Circa 1930s. Size: 8" x 8".

This Matchless star Christmas light has red glass prisms and a red glass gem. The base is bakelite and the bulb is C-6. These star lights were manufactured by the Matchless Electic Co. of Chicago, circa 1930. The lights are 2 inches in diameter and in working condition. 4 available in this color combination. Condition: excellent.

Very nice blown glass Christmas ornament in the form of a Malaga wine bottle. The ornament retains its original printed paper label.

Origin: Germany, circa 1920. Condition: excellent bright paint, 50% silvering, roughness at the pike (visible in photo). Size: 3-1/2".

Super vintage celluloid pop-up toy. It's one of the cutest celluloid Easter items I've seen. Mrs. Chick is dresed in a blue and white polka dot dress that conceals a coiled spring that allows her to bob up and down. All her costume is original. Unmarked, but probably American. Circa 1920s. Outstanding condition, no holes or dents. 4" tall.

This is the Santa or Jack Frost in a curved pinecone (Type I) ornament. This variation is more uncommon and has more detail than the Type II variation. Excellent paint (except some wear to white beard) and silvering. No chips or cracks. 3-3/4" long.

Lovely vintage blown glass Christmas ornament depicting a cornucopia full of bright red roses. The identical ornament is pictured in Johnson, vol. II, p. 111. Germany, circa 1920s. Mint condition. 2-1/2" tall.

Vintage wind-up Santa Claus toy. When activated, Santa rings his handbell and waves his other hand. The face is rubber and the clothing is felt with "fur" trim. Marked "Made In Japan". Circa 1930s. Excellent working condition. 7" tall.

Lithographed tin ratchet noisemaker featuring a witch and a grinning jack o'lantern. Marked "Made in U.S.A". Wooden handle. Circa 1930. Condition: some scratching; a few dents on the back side. 5-1/2" long.

A terrific lithographed tin Easter toy by Chein. A jaunty rabbit, decked out in a straw hat, pulls a cart decorated with various Easter bunny scenes. The back of the cart is marked with Chein’s logo.

Origin: America, ca. 1930. Condition: one back corner of the cart has some bubbling of the finish, but otherwise excellent condition. Size: 11-1/2” long; 7-3/4” tall.

A delightful set of six vintage composition turkey place card holders for the Thanksgiving table. Each turkey is brilliantly decorated in colorful paint including a metallic silver that adds touch of realism to the feathers. Each is stamped "U.S. Zone Germany" indicating they were made between 1945 and 1952.

A very nice pulp "choirboy" Halloween jack o'lantern. The paper insert is original. The pulp has very good color and a nice shiny glaze.

A very nice vintage pulp Halloween lantern in the shape of a black cat at an orange picket fence. The paper insert is original. The lantern has strong color and a nice shiny glaze on the pulp.

• Condition: original paint, a few small touch-ups, a couple of small tears on the back side, the bottom has a hole cut to insert a candle and the top of the head has a small section cut away to keep from burning.

Very nice vintage German blown glass clown Christmas ornament. Late 1940's--early 1950's. Excellent condition. 3-3/4" tall.

Unopened package of 24 vintage Halloween crepe paper cocktail napkins. The smaller cocktail size is bit harder to find than the dinner size. The napkins feature a wonderful border of dancing skeletons, witches, owls, bats and black cats. The edges are scalloped. Circa late 1940s. Condition: excellent. Size: 9" x 9".

Rare hard plastic Santa Claus in a chimney candy container. Probably made by Rosbro Plastics, circa 1940s-50s. Excellent condition. 5" tall.

Vintage lithographed tin Halloween pan noisemaker, decorated in green, black, white and orange. The decorations include a witch, a ghost and a skeleton around a cauldron. The edges are decorated with jack o'lanterns, owls, bats and black cats. Marked "US Metal Toy Mfg. Co. Made In U.S.A." Very nice condition, some scratching where metal clappers hit against pan, very light rust on the unpainted clappers. Circa 1940s. 7-7/8" long.

Great hard plastic "Easter Express" candy container/toy. Unmarked, but made by Rosbro. This is a great example of how the company made parts interchangeable so they could create new items by joining together a seemingly endless selection of rabbits, ducks, roosters, chicks, etc. Circa 1950. Excellent condition, original "grass". 8" long, 7-1/4" tall.
